Dermalyn Labs guidance
Safety &
responsible use.
A clear reference for using your at-home microneedling system thoughtfully. Read this page, every product label and the instructions included with your device before beginning.
Before you begin
- Use only on clean, intact skin and prepare a clean workspace.
- Read and follow the included directions for device settings, pressure, passes, frequency and formula use.
- Do not share the device or reuse single-use components.
- Do not combine the routine with products or devices unless your Dermalyn instructions specifically allow it.
When to wait or ask a professional
Do not use over active irritation, infection, open wounds, sunburn or a new unexplained skin change. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant or nursing, have a bleeding or immune condition, form raised scars, take medicines that affect healing or bleeding, or are under active dermatologic care.
If you are uncertain whether the system is appropriate for you, pause and obtain personalized medical advice.
During and after use
- Stop if you experience unexpected pain, marked swelling, blistering, persistent bleeding or signs of infection.
- Keep aftercare simple and follow the included guide. Avoid picking or rubbing the treated area.
- Protect skin from sun exposure and use broad-spectrum sunscreen as directed.
- Seek prompt medical care for severe or worsening symptoms.
Important device note
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration states that it has not cleared microneedling devices for delivery of cosmetics, topical medications, vitamins, drugs or blood products into the skin. Follow the intended use and instructions supplied with your device.
